Cryptocurrency prices rose after American billionaire Elon Musk returned to support Bitcoin after years of criticizing it for environmental reasons.
Bitcoin rose 0.3% to $113,204.31, capturing about 58.5% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, rose 1% to $4,150.39, while Ripple jumped 1.3% to $2,526.
The global cryptocurrency market capitalization stands at $3.84 trillion, with total trading volume over the past 24 hours reaching $241.17 billion, according to CoinMarketCap data.
