The euro rose in European trading on Friday against a basket of major currencies, attempting to recover from a two-week low against the US dollar. This recovery was fueled by buying activity at lower levels, ahead of the release of key economic data from Europe regarding the performance of major sectors in November.
The euro climbed more than 0.1% against the dollar to $1.1542, from an opening price of $1.1528, after hitting a low of $1.1521.
