Gold prices remain stable as markets await US data and the Federal Reserve's decision

Gold prices were largely unchanged in Asian trading on Wednesday as investors awaited key U.S. economic data and next week's Federal Reserve meeting, where an interest rate cut is widely expected.

Spot gold was steady at $4,204.55 per ounce by 10:45 a.m. Saudi time. U.S. gold futures rose 0.4% to $4,235.75.
